Cabaray Volcano

The Cabaray Volcano (also known as Cabaraya) is one of the lesser-known giants of the Oruro department. At 5,869 meters high, it is an ultra-prominent peak located in the Western Cordillera, right between the Isluga (Chile) and Tata Sabaya (Bolivia) volcanoes.

Tatasabaya Volcano

The Tata Sabaya Volcano (5,430 m) is one of the most mystical mountains of the Bolivian Altiplano. Located north of the Coipasa Salt Flat, it is an “Achachilla” (protective spirit) highly respected by the communities of the Sabaya province.
